Started in 1968, our active chapter of about 140 members includes many who are current pilots, some who are building their own projects, and others who are simply general aviation enthusiasts. Over the years, we have had many Chapter Projects, our current project being a total restoration of a 1955 Piper Pacer. Our chapter is somewhat unique in that we have our own facility, including a hangar, workshop, meeting room, museum, and office. The tools in the workshop are available for use by the membership, a nice benefit of being a chapter member. The chapter hanger, also known as "The Sport Aviation Center", is normally open from about 9:00 AM until Noon, 7 days a week. During that time, various members tend to stop in to work on a project or just enjoy a cup of coffee and the camaraderie of our fellow members . Please, stop by and visit us anytime and especially during our monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM. The chapter has no phone at the hangar, but feel free to email or call any of our officers, directors, technical counselors, or the website administrators below. EAA Chapter 304 is located at the Jackson Country Airport at 3600 Wildwood Ave, Jackson, MI 49202, Airport ID: KJXN From I-94, take exit 137 (Airport Rd) and turn South. After approximately 1/2 mile, Airport Rd becomes Laurence Ave. Continue on Laurence Ave approximately 1/2 mile to Wildwood Ave and turn West. Follow Wildwood Ave to the chapter building on the North side of the road at the entrance to the terminal building. Click here for a map.
